LA CAPITAL

Embedded within the interior fabric of a commercial center yet oriented toward an exterior garden, the project operates as a recalibration of enclosure. Rather than accept the neutrality of the retail shell, the intervention constructs a new spatial order: a concrete volume defined by two opposing glass façades that establish a measured transparency across the depth of the space. The restaurant becomes a calibrated threshold — neither fully interior nor exterior — mediating between commerce and landscape.

Within this tectonic frame, a wooden volume is inserted as a secondary architecture. Conceived as an inhabitable object, it consolidates all service functions and infrastructure, allowing the remaining field to remain continuous and unprogrammed. The dining hall emerges as an open ground — structured not by partitions, but by proportion, material contrast, and light.

Suspended above, a central lighting armature extends radially across the ceiling. Its articulated branches distribute focused illumination to each table, producing a constellation of intimate zones within the collective room. Light becomes both organizer and ornament — simultaneously infrastructural and atmospheric.

The project proposes a precise equilibrium between mass and permeability, object and field, monumentality and intimacy — an interior landscape constructed through clarity rather than excess.
