KLASSIFIED MUSIC
Activities are conceived as circles—fields of action that overlap and intersect with one another. The geometry of these intersections generates a continuous rail system for curtains, allowing the space to shift and reconfigure as needed. Retail, showroom, and electronic music studio coexist within a fluid spatial choreography, alternately revealed or concealed through soft partitions rather than rigid walls.
Designed for an independent electronic music label in West Amsterdam, the project embraces adaptability as both concept and construction strategy. The entire space was developed as a series of prefabricated modules, assembled on site with precision and efficiency. This modular logic reinforces the circular framework: flexible, repeatable, and open to transformation—much like the music produced within it.
